Opening Times and Admissions 2012
House and Gardens:
The House and Gardens are open to the general public between 9 May and 30 September on Wednesdays and Sundays. Additionally the Gardens only are open on Saturdays between 16 May and 30 September. We also open the House and Gardens on the Summer Bank Holiday Mondays (7 May, 4 June and 27 August). The Gardens only are also open on Easter Monday (9 April).
The kiosk opens at 1pm and the gardens are open to visitors until 5pm. There are tours of the house at 1.30pm 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Please note that only guided tours are allowed.
It is possible to view the house and gardens outside normal opening hours for a pre booked group with prior arrangement and booking via our administrator.
During the public opening season admission to the house and gardens is as follows; for a visit on a non pre booked tour during normal opening hours
House and Garden £7 per person
Garden only £4.50 per person
Garden only (child) £1.00
The tour of the house takes 45 minutes. During a pre booked tour you
may enjoy upto 1 hour 30 minutes in the house especially if you have
specific areas of the house in which you have a particular interest.
Pre Booked Tours
House and garden including guide £8.50 per person
Garden Only £6.00 per person
Garden Guide £50 per group
On the pre booked tours we can accommodate virtually any size group
but each tour will be limited to 20 people, so for example a group of 60
maybe split as follows;
10am Group A Tea Room for Coffee Group B Gardens Group C Tour of the House
10.45am Group B Tea Room Group C Gardens Group A Tour of the House
11.30pm Group C Tea Room Group A Gardens Group B Tour of the House
It is possible to accommodate two tours in the house at one time if you are working to a tight timetable. We can also allow up to two hours in the house if you particularly wish to do so.

Directions
Directions to Titsey Place and Gardens.
- Travelling along the A25 from Oxted to Westerham,
turn down Limpsfield High Street.
- Take the sharp left hand turn at the bottom into
Bluehouse Lane.
- Then take the first right into Water Lane.
- Pass under the M25 and turn right at Pitchfont
Lodge and follow the signs to the Car Park by the
Walled Gardens. (See map 2)
Facilities
There is FREE Car Parking at the property and a waiting space for 1
or 2 coaches. There are public toilets by the car park and adjacent to
the Tea Rooms. Our car park is on a grassy slope overlooking the glass
houses. You are welcome to picnic around the Orchard Area using the
tables provided if you wish.
Wheelchair access can be gained to the lower floor of the property. The gardens are sloping in parts but generally access can be gained to the majority of the gardens.
